this is my friend, ben. a couple of years back, ben started a catering co. that works solely with local, sustainable foods from ohio's farmers. by this winter, though, spice of life (ben's company) had reached a critical stage where it either needed help to grow or was going to fall apart. enter marigold. we've moved ben in and merged with his wonderful little company, from which i truly expect big things. i'm anxious to start working with yet another person that i respect as a chef and a friend and i know he'll make our offices a livelier place. i also like that it looks like he has adult braces in this picture. ha-ha ben.
